Cannabis Consumers are Partaking in More Sex Than Those Who Don’t Toke

Researchers at the Stanford University School of Medicine recently conducted a study to find out statistics surrounding sex and cannabis. Researchers utilized data that had been collected by the National Survey of Family Growth between the years of 2002 and 2015. The analysis of data surrounding 50,000 Americans between the age of 25 and 45 was used to come to conclude the results of the study. Based on the results of research the study showed that those who consume cannabis on a regular basis have an average of 20% more sex than those who abstain from partaking in the plant.

The study found that women who consume cannabis on a regular basis have sex an average of 7.1 times every 4 weeks in comparison to women who do not consume who only have sex an average of 6 times in a four-week period. When it comes to men who consume cannabis they averaged 6.9 sexual encounters during a four-week period while men who do not consume cannabis only tend to have 5.6 sexual encounters every 4 weeks.

So why might this be? Well if you were to ask me I would have to say it’s because cannabis consumers tend to be healthier, happier, and more open-minded than individuals who do not partake. In my opinion, this is not simply because we’re high but because our endocannabinoid systems are not deficient therefore our bodies work better, and natural desires are not as easily overlooked or suppressed by physical ailments, stress, and other aspects. I also feel that individuals who consume cannabis tend to be much more passionate and caring about other people or at least more open about how they feel. Either way you look at it though it’s a win-win for cannabis consumers. With that being said, I think it’s time for a joint!
